Privacy Policy
This policy covers apps and plugins from PARqore (Paul Rosenthal), including ColorDrop, Last Light, Echo Relay, Hard Moments, FarmSeconds, New Life Daily, GridUnlock, Open Mic Finder, Anti AI, and PARqore NativePHP plugins. It is written in plain English so you know what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account information. If you create an account, we may collect your email address and basic account details you provide so you can sign in and use the product.
- Plugin launch list. If you use Notify me on a plugin that is still coming soon, we store your email address, which plugin you asked about (if you used that plugin’s form), and the time you signed up. We use that list only to email you when those PARqore plugins are available. We never sell it. To be removed, email[email protected], or use the unsubscribe link in any email we send you.
- Diagnostics. Apps may collect crash reports, performance data, and similar technical information to find and fix bugs.
- Content you create. Some apps store content you choose to save (for example journal entries, game progress, or listings). That content stays tied to your use of the app.
- GridUnlock drive logs. When you log a drive, GridUnlock uploads what happened at each traffic signal (stopped or went through, the time, speed, direction, and wait), tagged with a random device identifier, so we can estimate signal timing. Your full GPS route stays on your phone. Drive upload data is kept for up to 6 months and is never sold. You can ask us to delete it sooner at [email protected].
- Destination search. If you search for a destination, the text you type, your starting point and the destination are sent to our server to find a route. They are not stored with your install ID. We look up the place with OpenStreetMap search (Photon by komoot). Routes may use TomTom through our server, or OpenRouteService (HeiGIT) if TomTom is not available.
- Live traffic. Traffic map tiles come from TomTom through our server, so TomTom never receives your location or device details.
- Open Mic Finder. Open Mic Finder helps people find public open mic nights nearby. There is no account. Location is optional. If you tap the location button, the phone asks first, and the app reads one exact position while it is open. It never asks for background location. That position is sent to our Open Mic Finder server only to find nights near you. The server does not save your exact position. It keeps venue results for your area, rounded to about a mile, for up to 7 days so the next search is faster. To find venues, the server may pass that position to Google Places and Songkick. If you type a city or ZIP instead, the server looks it up with OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) and keeps the result for up to 30 days so the same search is faster. Your last search spot and your saved favorites stay on your phone.
- Open Mic Finder submissions and reports. If you add a night or report a problem with a listing, we store what you type on our server, including an optional contact you choose to give, so a person can review it. There is no automatic delete for these yet. Email [email protected] and we will delete yours. Open Mic Finder has no ads, analytics, or crash-reporting tools.
- Open Mic Finder sharing. When you text, email, or share a night, the app opens your phone’s own Messages, Mail, or share sheet with the night filled in. You pick who gets it and tap Send. We never see the message or who it goes to.
- Anti AI photo and video checks. Anti AI has no account. It checks photos and videos you choose on your device. It does not upload them. The app keeps a copy of each file you check and a history of your results on your phone only. Removing the app removes them. On Android, Anti AI uses Google ML Kit text recognition on your device to read labels in the picture, such as “Contains AI-generated media.” The picture stays on the device. Google may collect basic diagnostics about how ML Kit runs, under Google’s policies. The app code has an optional online checker that would send a picture to a server. It is turned off, and if we ever turn it on, this page will say so first.
- Personalized Photo Coloring Book. This book is not for sale yet. When it is, photos you send are used to make line art with AI (OpenAI). Lulu prints the book. We delete those photos 30 days after delivery.
- Anti AI links. If you paste or share a link, for example from TikTok, Anti AI only reads the link as text and saves it in your history on the phone. It never opens, fetches, or downloads the link.
How we use information
We use the information above to run the apps, keep accounts working, improve reliability, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data.
Ads and tracking
We do not use personal data to run ads across our portfolio by default. Some individual apps may show third-party ads and will disclose that in the store listing or in the app.
This website, parqore.com, uses Google Analytics 4. It records the pages you open, roughly where a visit came from, and general browser and device details. We use that to see which parts of the site are useful. Google processes it under Google’s policies. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to show ads on this site.
We also count anonymous visits to this website on our own server for 90 days, without cookies, and we do not store IP addresses.
- ColorDrop on Android currently uses Google AdMob for ads. AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers under Google’s policies.
- ColorDrop on iOS currently does not show ads.
If another app later adds ads or analytics beyond what is described here, that app will say so separately.
Third parties
We use trusted service providers where needed (for example hosting, email delivery, crash reporting, or ad networks when an app uses them). Those providers process data only to provide their service to us.
Your choices
You can request access to or deletion of account-related personal data by emailing [email protected]. Some apps also offer in-app account deletion. Uninstalling an app removes it from your device; cloud account data may remain until you ask us to delete it.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy when products or practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
